then why are you criticizing the criticizing of that clemency?

"I don't particularly agree with clemency for this judge either, but it was part of a mass commutation covering nearly 1,500 people who had been released on home confinement during the Covid pandemic, not a favor to the judge personally; in fact, none of the grantees were considered individually."

Also what is your definition of actual democracy?
