put it together myself today, got some starting soil and planting units, and planted some seeds. since it's so early (although warmer than usual for late winter), i started two flats of peas (i looooove fresh peas), kale, lettuce, chard, and spinach. i was one of the lucky recipients of seeds of change's seed promotion last year, so we'll see how that goes.

looking forward to summer crops this year! last year's crops really sucked, except for my cukes and peppers. i never even got a zucchini! also, decided to do pole beans (kentucky wonder) instead of bush, as i've been told you can get a bigger crop.

oh, and i'm in northern cal, region 9.
