2. We couldn't get purple this year. We put in some large white ones and they did very well.

We're digging them tomorrow. It's supposed to get down to 33 tonight, but I don't think there will be frost. Still, we're pulling up the last of the basil this afternoon just in case. It doesn't take much to knock it out. I think the peppers and tomatoes will survive at least another week or so. Great crop.
