left to right. Eastern Round White, Purple, Adirondack Red and White Fingerlings.
A few Danvers Half Long carrots in the background.
It was a dry summer here in upstate NY. But the garden did pretty well.
Best peppers ever thanks to the milk bath treatment.

(912 posts)We still have two rows to dig up, hopefully tomorrow! You have a nice variety there. I just replant anything left in the spring that sprouts so am down to two types now. Maybe it is time to actually buy some for a change and get some variety in my garden next year.

(47,675 posts)We're digging them tomorrow. It's supposed to get down to 33 tonight, but I don't think there will be frost. Still, we're pulling up the last of the basil this afternoon just in case. It doesn't take much to knock it out. I think the peppers and tomatoes will survive at least another week or so. Great crop.

(47,675 posts)We've had the purple ones last into MARCH! My wife takes the crates that clementines come in to store the taters. They stack, provide air, and are basically dark. And if they get a moldy one, you can just throw it in the fire pit and use another one in its place. We eat a lot of clementines.
