13. Kung PaoTofu

Saw a package of kung pao flavored tofu cubes at the store so I said why not?
Steam-fried in sesame oil and veggie broth: chopped onion, green and red bell pepper, celery and minced garlic. When done I added water chestnuts, the marinated tofu and a few Tbsps of Wegman’s Kung Pao sauce and peanuts. Gave it a stir and after tasting I thought it needed a little sweetness so I mixed in some teriyaki sauce and it was delicious. After plating I topped the dish with minced scallions. Brown rice on the side. Cheers!🥂
Cher, we’ve owned many super fussy cats over the years so I understand what you’re going through. But we’re lucky now to have the least finicky cat we’ve ever known. Our alpha male eats anything he’s presented with, dry, canned, poultry or seafood. Doesn’t matter to him, he seems to have an endless appetite. And he begs for human food; you’d think he had canine blood coursing through his veins. He’s still going strong at 10 years old.
