3. Allergic reaction - absolutely

Improperly cured epoxy is a good suspect. Epoxy is made of two agents and if it was not cured properly, it certainly can cause skin problems. Also, some people are just allergic to some plastics. My wife has a severe allergic reaction to latex for example.

If suspect, talk to a dermatologist or insist on going to one before you have those aids implanted.
