I am fully prepared to reach the "acceptance" stage of grief. But only after it is clear that strange data like a 5-7% surge in bullet ballots for only Trump in only Swing States, from the normal .01% is clarified. And that is only done in a recount.

What is the worst that can be the result of a State recount? There should be no shame in that. Sure would have been nice to have the recount in Florida completed in 2000 as well. Are Democrats so cowed into bowing into submission this easily? So what if the tabulation was correct all along? That wouldn't change the resistance movement. In fact it might even give it more desperation to act towards 2026
