The only reason inequality has made any kind of a change is largely due to the Childcare benefit. I think the benefit is a good idea to help people out of poverty, but it is NOT the government battling inequality by any measure and does not give them bragging rights that they are solving inequality. It is actually the government subsidizing their rich friends underpaying and hoarding money. It's just buying silence on inequality.

You know all those jobs they are boasting were created? the majority are part time.

The liberals still won't go after offshore tax havens and you won't see a significant increase to any corporate taxes with Morneau as finance minister. It has been only a slight deviation from the direction Harper had us going.
