North Memorial Hospital needs the same kind of help as HCMC, but will it get it?

“ The bulk of it would go to HCMC, that unlike North Memorial, also pays for other federal tools, called a Directed Payment Program (DPP), to help close the Medicaid reimbursement gap. That gap is expected to widen even more in 2027 due to the federal administration reshaping Medicaid, including changing work requirements and eligibility restrictions.”
