Following the 2024 elections, Rep. Moulton told The New York Times he wouldn't want his daughters to get "run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete". He argued that the Democratic Party's refusal to openly debate the issue of transgender athletes in sports contributed to electoral losses.
