The Chinese have it partially right: corrupt executives get a damned brutal treatment, too.

I think a CEO who rips off workers for thousands of dollars should end up in the same very unpleasant place as someone who pulls out a gun and holds up a store. Indeed, wage theft and corporate corruption steal far more money, but that doesn't excuse this bullshit of anything under a thousand being slap on the hand.
