I mixed water, dish soap and cooking oil in a plastic lid; blew bubbles in the mixture using an angled drinking straw; and took closeups of the bubbles using a 100mm f2.8 macro lens.

I think it was on of those soap bubble toys kids get to make and blow bubbles. They just made a bubble

I'm using my freezer. The outdoor temperatures would have to be in the teens to get the best results.
