7. If the wig is shipped from China, I expect that you would be billed for the tariff.

The tariff is charged by the U.S. government when a product enters the country. It would be a huge hassle for a small seller in a foreign country to take on the responsibility of calculating the U.S. tariff, which could change at any time, and then paying it to U.S. Customs. So it seems logical that you would be responsible for that.

I wanted to order some Christmas gifts from overseas sellers this past Christmas (items that are not available in the U.S.), but I did not for precisely this reason.

However, if the wig is sold through a third-party seller based in the U.S. (through sites like Amazon, eBay, etc.), then most likely the tariff is included in the price.
