6. One of my friends bought stuff for Christmas

They thought they were buying from an American source, but tracking revealed the things were coming from our of the country. My friend got a notice from the p.o. that there were several packages for them, that were from "potentially fraudulent addresses" There was significant postage due. They had to go to the p.o. to either refuse the packages or pay the postage. They wanted the gifts, so paid the postage. My friend realized that sellers might pass on the tariff charges either to the p.o. or add to the cost of the items.

My friend is a reliable source.
