It began with touch, one hand slipping into anothers fitting seamlessly.
That bond felt eternal, two hands exploring each others love touching the others life, today
always.
Snow melts, grass greens, colorful autumn leaves fall
again and again.
Stumbles, rejoices, tears and laughter, repeat yet again
the bond holds.
In the rush of the day
in the quiet of the night, it ends with a touch, one hand slipping into the others
.bonding seamlessly.
As our bodies fade and we become indistinct to the world the last line from a poem comes to mind.
Our almost-instinct almost true: What will survive of us is love. *
Happy Anniversary
I have always loved you.
* An Arundel Tomb by Philip Larkin

Wonderful! Congratulations. There is nothing more beautiful, to my mind, than a long life of love. n/t.

And I meant to say that I admired your poetic description of the day and the life.
