Most, if not all, blue states are already legal, pot smoking lefties ain't voting for Trump suddenly and navel gazing libertarians ain't gonna stop voting for Trump if he doesn't do this. In fact, from what I can tell, this is going to piss off another chunk of his base while doing almost nothing to increase it. There are a lot of sweet drug interdiction dollars and "social control" arrests at risk with this policy change. My guess, net loss for his base.
