"Daddy Billy" was a goddamn fraudster too. He was most adept at brainwashing and controlling his feeble-minded followers into supporting right-wing corporate fascism contrary to their own best economic interests. Mostly through playing on their fear of going to hell. Like they all do! His corporate and political elite buddies didn't buy his "holy holy" bullshit one fucking wit. They knew he was working for them. Guns, god, & gays baby! He was practically the genesis of this whole sick fucking cult. And he sure made his millions and lived the "life style". A motherfucking con-man all day long and was as big a part of the right's "long con" as any of the bastards all the way back to, and before, Lewis Powell. Franklin is just more comfortable being open about what their dirty fucking game is really all about.
