My adult daughter's father (with whom I'm still very close friends) lives up in Oregon and is on disability. He sent me a screen shot of his application for LIHEAP and it is disgusting. It quite literally asks if the applicant has any income from recycling cans, donating plasma or if they ever receive money in birthday cards. How cruel and inhumane can you be?
