1. The e-book version is probably selling much better than the hard copy version

I'm sure that's true for most "bestsellers" these days. I read a LOT and I haven't purchased a hard copy book for myself in over 10 years. Occasionally I'll buy one as a gift for my sister or another close family member. Even when I borrow from the public library, it's amost aways a digital e-book.
