17. The problem with MAGA-ism in the country and especially Republican politics . . .

No single person has a clear idea of the rules, what moral and ethical guidelines there are that they should follow, no long term end point, no goals to collectively strive for.

Two consequences of that:

1. Small differences of opinion will balloon out to a huge bunfight.
2. The cult will collapse with Trump's demise.

Meanwhile, we can hope for more of the first, and a short time to the second.

Will the Republican party survive the loss of their cult leader?
Not, unless they can reinvent themselves and acknowledge the many mistakes of the past.
