Shouldn't it be called Health Care Freedom for AMERICANS..... patient is a term not used commonly in healthcare outside of the hospital setting. It denotes a passiveness that healthcare providers have been trying to get away from as long as I have been in healthcare----since 1983. As a case manager for Medicaid- we referred to people as clients or members. Same when I was employed in home health care- clients was the preferred term.

And their proposal is a joke.

But I guess I am just woke.....
