Not necessarily.

The Constitution prohibits the Federal government from compelling local officials to enforce Federal law – including immigration law.

And Trump tried to ‘defund’ cities in his first term and which was stopped by the courts.

True, Trump doesn’t care about the Constitution or the law, but we still have a semi-functional judiciary.
