True, in all sports stars get special treatment. It is unfair and I much prefer an evenly called game.

Are you advocating match fixing as a solution? Do you think referees should also call excessive fouls against Portugal and Argentina to make up for a perceived injustice?

Soccer is still growing in popularity, and this incident is not going to slow that one iota. If anything, the exposure to the US of this World Cup will further increase the sport's popularity, despite Trump and his antics.
