37. Becerra or Steyer would be fine

I'm still a little fence-sitting on it, but I think I'm going to go with Steyer. I just don't get the feeling Becerra will shake up Sacramento to any real, tangible degree. We need someone who will break the ball-grip lobbyists have in this state, and maybe he'll do it. Maybe not.

Becerra would be competent, though. So if it is him, that's fine. Just fine. Not amazing. But fine. It would just feel a little . . . stagnant, for lack of a better word. But the idea of a billionaire just waltzing in and throwing money down doesn't sit great with me, which is why I'm very, "Ehhhhh . . . ." about deciding.

Just going to hang on to my ballot until late May and see where we are with polling and things. Still plenty of time.
