That’s one reason the trials were delayed past the election- because with the immunity ruling, every single act related to every single charge had to be ruled on, by a judge, not Smith, on whether it was an official act, and thus immune from prosecution.

And then, every ruling could be appealed all the way to SCOTUS.

He’s not going to flee.
