... also known as Ayn Rand, brought to mind that I once met that evil witch. I was a young, wet-behind-the-ears tag-along whom she barely acknowledged at a meet-and-greet following a malicious diatribe she was actually paid to deliver. My employers were rabid "Objectivists", and strongly encouraged me to accompany them to her talk. This was in '68 or '69, I think; somewhere in the way back when.
She was repulsive. My estimation of my employers took a nose dive after hearing her belittle people who were altruistic, among other things.
