Lawmaking is their job. Just because their work product won’t succeed doesn’t mean the only thing they can do is investigate. Writing progressive laws and having messy, noisy fights with Republicans and Trump is the most effective way to show Americans that Democrats are on their side.

You know what I fear? Hearing Schumer or Jeffries say something like, “we just have to wait to see the outcome of our investigations and then we will…” I’d be super disappointed if they sit on their hands.
