Yesterday

Cop: Why did you shoot that guy?

Shooter: I had to, it was self defense!

Cop: What did he do to frighten you?

Shooter: He looked me funny! I told him not to, but he kept staring at me! I had to, it was self defense!

Cop: Stared? Did he say or do anything else?

Shooter: No, but I'm sure he had Evil in his heart and was planning to do something! It was pre-emptive self defense!

Cop: You nutz?

Shooter: No! I know these things! I'm a hero!

Cop: Save it for the judge! I'm sure your self defense and mind reading will get you off!

Shooter: Should do! I had no choice!

Cop: Says nothing. No point.
