Yes, that's incredibly stupid, but once again, the party of personal liberty has a real problem with other people's personal liberty. Even they don't possess enough cognitive dissonance to just come out and say it, so they make up some bizarre conspiracy to demonize a tiny group that's simply exercising their own freedom. And that exercise in no way, shape or form hurts those reich wingers. But it ain't about that. It's about "do what we say!" and "The world must conform to reich wing idiocy or we feel threatened!!!"
