7. In the 2020 race, he got 53.9% of the vote

Wednesday

The nonpartisan/Democrat-affiliated candidate got 41.2% and the Alaskan Independence Party candidate got 4.7%. So the R candidate is down 7% and D up by 5%. Definitely in play.
