There's a semi-charitable scam that is possible - might send a couple dozen surly drop-out twenty-somethings to sit in the back with headphones on listening to what they want to hear and playing video games. Gets them out of their parent's basement for a couple hours.
Take $1k off the top to send them. They or their parents get $3.5k. Win-win.
