69. While there is lot of craziness around Epstein's death, I think he had plenty of reasons to kill himself

Spending the remainder of his life in prison as a sex offender is a big reason. Why would anyone want to continue living under such circumstances?

But I'm continually amazed at the people facing life in prison or even the death penalty who turn themselves in or allow themselves to be taken into custody without a fight.

I guess I'm just amazed at the people who are obedient and freely comply when their lives are effectively over.
