I asked if vultures eat each other. AI sez:

Yes, vultures are opportunistic scavengers and will eat the carcasses of other vultures if they find them, especially if food is scarce, though they prefer other dead animals; while not actively hunting their own kind, they'll feast on a dead fellow vulture just like any other carrion, with documented cases of black vultures eating juvenile vultures

In other words, vultures will eat anything that is dead, but they probably won't kill a fellow vulture. So I guess that isn't a very good metaphor for what is happening inside the WH, 'cause they are very definitely looking for any chance to kill and eat one of their rivals.
