15. i agree the loss of democracy is the bigger issue which is lost on

MAGA. They are bothered by pedophilia, immigration, affordability. Trump's perceived populism/heroism/charisma is critical to them. They don't get the connection of democracy to any of that.

So if Trump is being even more of a jerk than ever, we have to use it. Even MAGAs get that blaming a guy for his own murder is out of line. And they liked Spinal Tap.

It will get worse. We'll be seeing full scale Caligula sooner or later. It's the trajectory of his illness. If we say crassness and cruelty isn't the point, how about democracy, we are missing the point. Trump's decline could be our way out.
