It's a good thing when republicans in DC publicly disagree with the felon. That does not mean we want to exchange body fluids/DNA with them. Or stand on the same side of the street as them at a rally, in the context of a Marginally Taylor Greene. It does not mean we should be expected to break bread with them -- unless we are an elected Democrat who gets paid for communicating with them.
These cracks might seem small, unless one looks at recent polling or talks with others while grocery shopping. First of all, they don't have to be big to make a huge difference. This isn't to pretend that somkething as small as the president's penis is sure to make a difference, but I for one loved South Park's eforts,
Republicans cannot afford to lose many voters. Will they try to pretend to almost stand up to te felon before the mid-terms? The answer is simple: NO. In boxing we say someone born square doesn't end up round. They will pretend to the exact amount of nothing significant. They are aware of the influence of independents, the majority "party," is a ball & chain on their chances for re-election. Thus, more will decide to spend more time with their families.
