I honestly thought Trump would trot out some staffer-written generic "Thoughts and Prayers" tweet regarding Rob Reiner, like how he did after President Carter passed.

There was just that sliver of hope of the tiniest shred of humanity in the man. Just for him to do the barest of the bare minimum of decency.

I mean, if you honestly can't think of anything nice to say, just say you liked The Princess Bride. Because everyone likes The Princess Bride. It's just an eminently likeable film, no matter who you are.
