I guess I'm still a little bit naive.

I honestly thought Trump would trot out some staffer-written generic "Thoughts and Prayers" tweet regarding Rob Reiner, like how he did after President Carter passed.

There was just that sliver of hope of the tiniest shred of humanity in the man. Just for him to do the barest of the bare minimum of decency.

I mean, if you honestly can't think of anything nice to say, just say you liked The Princess Bride. Because everyone likes The Princess Bride. It's just an eminently likeable film, no matter who you are.

... than Trump's total lack of human decency, is the Republican Party's continued support of this walking malignancy. They all put their own selfish interests ahead of the best interests of the nation as a whole. They could justifiably impeach him 20 times over, but they put Der Party ahead of the country. We have to rid ourselves of these sewer rats, and get busy repairing the damage they've done.
