Since shedding XM radio I have become an automobile captive audience to local and national new and public radio. [View all]

I have learned that I have been missing a lot by staying my favorite XM stations (6 total).
I previously shared with DUers the link to WAMU radio and 1A

Today I was hooked into listening to Fresh Air which is connected to NPR and WAMU in ways I don't quite understand. Nevertheless, It was one of the most informative broadcasts I have ever experienced about asbestos, Johnson & Johnson Baby Powder, FDA, the courts and our government.
If you are a history/political/capitalism buff you should not ignore listening to this program from beginning to end.
J&J recently lost a bid to settle lawsuits that claimed its talc powder products, including baby powder, caused cancer. Author Gardiner Harris (No More Tears) says the company's defense "is beginning to crumble." The eye-opener throughout the discussion was the actions or inactions by our government and the courts. Surprising players in this also on how this issue is also related to the drug problem in this country too.
