it's just an app, not PC. My younger sister told me about it - when I mentioned it to my 21 year old daughter she knew all about it. It's a little tougher to navigate so far (for me).
Of course there will be alternatives. Zuck is an idiot - FB is run with advertiser $$ and they don't get hits if half of the people leave.
Also I love Bluesky - I'm on there the most now.

I think Elon changed the algorithm to push conservative posts. The government needs to look into it imo.
