Those articles refer to a legal filing, not a public statement by Jack Smith.

My original replay was to this statement:
"Jack Smith made the statement that he has proof why Trump stole classified documents"

This implies he made a public statement. There is no evidence that ever occurred. A reference in a legal filing is not a public statement and there is no proof that Jack Smith himself even wrote that legal filing - we only know it was written by someone on the team.

Now, I'm sure you'll say I'm being overly picky, but I'm sorry, when I'm told somebody made a statement, I expect there to be proof that this person actually said those things. That's what I originally stated I was skeptical of, and I've proven myself right to be skeptical.
