It's like someone sprayed it with fireplace brick cleaner before they shot the video.
That said, if there was enough oxygen being pulled in by the firestorm, the combustion could, theoretically, be complete enough to be very close to soot free.
But, that wouldn't be a miracle. It would be simple chemistry.
Either way, their take is ridiculous.
