If we can find a basis that establishes the incoming Trump Administration as an illegal Regime, that is a basis for countering their power. Frankly what is more likely is that Trump might suspend the US Constitution and/or suspend elections. They have outright said the first and implied the latter. Both of these things are prima facie illegal and would render Trump's Administration illegal. If Trump's Administration were illegal there would be a basis for legally removing him, probably impeachment.
