…who can be trusted to make decisions for her own reasons.

During her 8 years in the White House, Mrs. Obama was unfailingly polite to all and correct in her behavior. In the years since then she and her husband have partnered in enterprises to inform and better the American people.

On this occasion, for all any of us know she could have a broken leg or pneumonia or cancer treatments — none of which are any of our business unless she makes a public announcement.
