on the part of any kind of leader - let alone one that stands atop the the mountain ...

And NOT important by any measure of the likelihood of any of it coming to be. And that's a distinction that probably should remain uppermost. In that - the OP has a valid point. We do nobody any good rushing around pretending that we really believe that the military is going to invade Greenland. Not gonna happen. And meanwhile - this guy is just LIVING off all the frantic energy. Don't feed the beast!
