18. Do you have any reputable sources that this was a deliberate act by the company?

I didn't find any remotely mainstream news source even reporting on this, even local news media. Admittedly I only tried a few search variations on Google News but I am usually quite good at finding local reporting on newsworthy events, via this method.

I did find this one which at least includes different views of the event in its reporting.

I don't doubt that a Bezos-run company can be guilty of some quite anti-worker acts. But let's not be gullible here. There's lots or ways and reasons that could be behind the flooding event. If it even happened (which I am leaning towards "something like this happened" ). What I see as a bigger story - at the moment, at least - is that NO ONE IS REPORTING about it in the local press, or anything we could even remotely consider neutral.
