5. Trump thinks being a TV producer makes him "diplomatic".

This means he treated Trump with kid gloves when he had a tantrum.

What is the UK meant to do with him? He used to say he didn't support Trump at all. All he's done is make sure the embarrassing bits of The Apprentice never saw to light of day (though, frankly, Trump is unembarrassable, after being revealed as a rapist). There's no sign he's an insider in Trump circles. We have an ambassador we have to treat like he's a wise representative of the USA, though he's a waste of space. We have real diplomats in the permanent diplomatic service who do the real work. What's this 6th wheel for?
