Between trying for RICO and hiring an affair partner, she put herself in this position. All the whataboutisms don't change that the prosecutors are intentionally held to a high standard and she should have kept the case simple, especially given the complexity in prosecuting a powerful person. But she opted for a case that would make her famous and to hire someone she shouldn't have. I can only presume that was her ego making those choices
