5. He was the first president I voted for! I was so excited (and I voted kinda sneakily).

It's a long story but I was able to vote because I was 21 (the age you had to be THEN), newly married, pregnant with my first child. And JFK was an exciting candidate. Of course, we knew nothing of his womanizing, but Jackie was SO pretty and spoke French and was a debutante. She was upper class elegant. We all imitated her hair style. She wore designer clothes that were then copied cheaply and we wore. His assassination was so shocking and her elegant service for him was so tragically beautiful. CAMELOT!
