He thought that the military power of the US would be his to wield freely to get his own way. He has never learned to negotiate and does not even comprehend what negotiation is. To him it is threats and intimidation to force people to do his bidding. He is easily outsmarted because he favors brawn over brains.

After alienating the leaders of nations around the world, failing to keep his promises to protect Middle East nations that gave him money, and creating instability and chaos, they are uniting to get things done without him and stabilize the world.

Trump has relied all his life on creating chaos and insecurity around him so he could manipulate people. Now that MO is working against him.

The world will move on without him. But we the people of the US will continue to be hurt by what he has done and continues to do until he and all of his backers and supporters are totally out of power and replaced by rational people who understand governance.
