Let's talk about Trump, Venezuela, and the new US reality.... - Belle of the Ranch [View all]
Well, howdy there Internet people. It's Belle again. So, today we're going to talk about Trump, Venezuela, and the new US reality.
So, we've been flooded with questions since the US operation in Venezuela started and we'll get to them all, from the legal and constitutional concerns to the chances of success to the international reaction to why the oil companies are silent. We'll get to them all over the next couple of days. We're answering one today simply so it adds some context for newer viewers. Because while much of the US is hanging up the mission accomplished banner, I remember the last time one was hung up.
We are now in a rehash of the banana wars. This isn't over. Even if everything goes perfectly in Venezuela and a friendly government takes power with no further issues, this is not over. Because this isn't just about Venezuela. In fact, it's not about Venezuela at all. It's about economics. Trump said, "We're in the oil business." He also said, "We're going to have our very large United States oil companies, the biggest anywhere in the world, go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure, and start making money for the country."
If you've been on social media talking about how it was about protecting Americans from illicit substances, you were played. If you thought it was about democracy, you were played. If you believed any of the pretexts, you were played by the standard process of manufacturing consent for a war. This is about oil and minerals. It's about big business. Trump flat out said it a while back.
We talked about how his stated doctrine would lead us to see something like the banana wars. Here's the thing, that's plural. Banana Wars. It wasn't one engagement. It was Panama, Colombia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Haiti, and the list goes on. because the Venezuelan operation is being seen as an immediate success that increases the likelihood of more. And right now, people are cheering because they saw it as easy. But it only takes a lucky shot with an RPG to send a helicopter down, and then it's unforgiving.
We're likely at the start of the second wave of the Banana Wars, the outcomes of which will damage the US internationally, and it will create blowback that your kids or grandkids will be dealing with decades from now. Understand that many of the issues the right-wing complains about today have a direct origin in the Banana Wars, most of which were a hundred years ago. This won't be different. We said this is where we're headed. Now we're here. If this expands and spirals, you can't say you weren't warned.
That brings us to the question I think is worth answering today. I'm new to your channel and I watched the links where you said we'd use the carrier to take out air defenses, then use the Night Stalkers to fly in Delta Force, and you listed capturing Maduro as a possible objective. more than a month ago. Then YouTube showed me videos where you did the same thing with Iran. How did you know?
The US is so convinced of its military supremacy that it telegraphs its moves pretty openly. When you know what each asset does, and you know the assets in place, it's easy to come up with a potential menu of options and future events. Keep that in mind when it comes to the future events described in this video. This isn't over.
Anyway, it's just a thought. Y'all have a good day.
